Industrial expansion is becoming more aggressive; there is optimism that the national economy will continue to strengthen

Depok (ANTARA) – PT Intikeramik Alamasri Industri Tbk (IKAI) is strengthening its business capacity through an additional working capital loan facility from PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk as part of efforts to drive business growth, expand the activities of its subsidiaries, and increase its contribution to the real sector.

The funding will be utilized as working capital for all of the subsidiaries’ business lines to strengthen operations while accelerating business development. The company is targeting organic growth that is significantly higher than the previous year.

IKAI Director Emirza Adi Wibowo stated in a press release on Sunday that the credit facility is part of the company’s strategy to strengthen its business foundation amid increasing opportunities for national economic growth.

“The purpose of this bank loan is to provide working capital to improve and develop operations across all our subsidiaries. Through this strategy, the company’s organic growth target is expected to increase significantly and exceed last year’s revenue, with a rise of approximately 70 percent,” said Emirza.

This expansion plan has also been approved by shareholders through an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGM). This approval authorizes the company to issue a corporate guarantee to support financing for its subsidiaries.

IKAI Chief Financial Officer Murwantoro Toroxandy explained that this decision is part of a strategy to strengthen the financing structure so that business expansion can proceed more optimally.

“IKAI, as the holding company, has officially held an EGM to grant permission and approval for the company’s corporate guarantee to its subsidiaries,” he said.

Meanwhile, IKAI Corporate Secretary Winda Yohana emphasized that the entire process was conducted with a focus on transparency and compliance with capital market regulations.

“This approval of the corporate guarantee is a demonstration of our commitment to transparency toward the public and regulators, while also ensuring that our subsidiaries have a solid financial foundation to pursue the 70 percent growth target,” said Winda.

In addition to strengthening its funding structure, IKAI also carried out an organizational restructuring through the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) for the 2025 fiscal year by appointing Tedjodiningrat Broto Asmoro as a Commissioner. This move was taken to strengthen corporate governance (Good Corporate Governance/GCG) while supporting the company’s long-term growth strategy.

IKAI’s Lead Commissioner, William Daniel, believes that Tedjodiningrat’s appointment will strengthen oversight functions alongside Bernardus Djonoputro, who has extensive experience in regional development and infrastructure.

According to William, this synergy is expected to support the company’s transformation as it capitalizes on investment opportunities and the ongoing development of regions across Indonesia.

Moving forward, IKAI will continue its business strategy through Integrated Land Development, which encompasses regional development, land rights management, utilities, and energy. The company aims to complete the optimization phase by 2027 before entering the expansion phase in 2028.

Emirza emphasized that the company is committed to implementing a sustainable growth strategy by prioritizing good governance, data-driven decision-making, and measured risk management.
