IKAI Has Two New Commissioners, Ready to Accelerate Business Transformation

JAKARTA, investor.id – PT Intikeramik Alamasri Industri Tbk (IKAI) has strengthened its supervisory board by appointing two new commissioners: Tedjodiningrat Broto Asmoro and Bernardus Djonoputro. This move is part of the company’s efforts to accelerate its business transformation and achieve sustainable growth.

The appointments were approved at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) for Fiscal Year 2025, held on June 30, 2026.

IKAI’s Lead Commissioner, William Daniel, stated that the addition of Tedjodiningrat and Bernardus will strengthen the implementation of the company’s long-term strategy. IKAI has established three phases of transformation: the Reconditioning Phase in 2026, the Optimization Phase in 2027, and the Expansion Phase beginning in 2028.

According to William, Bernardus has over 35 years of experience in urban planning, regional development, and infrastructure financing. He currently serves as CEO of the Rebana Metropolitan Management Authority and has previously held senior positions at Deloitte, EY, and PwC.

IKAI President Director Desra Firza Ghazfan said the company has begun to show positive results after undergoing a recovery phase since the second half of 2025. Management’s focus is on improving the financial structure, strengthening governance, and increasing operational efficiency.

As a result, IKAI posted consolidated revenue of Rp 148.9 billion in 2025. EBITDA also turned from negative to positive at Rp 5.2 billion in the fourth quarter of 2025, while revenue for the final quarter grew 71% compared to the previous period.

IKAI’s Performance Soars

This performance was driven by two main business pillars: manufacturing and hospitality. Production of Essenza-brand premium ceramics exceeded 1.1 million square meters throughout 2025, while the average occupancy rate of hotels managed by the company reached 72.5%.

Additionally, Hotel Property Indonesia (HPI) posted a positive EBITDA of Rp 16 billion and a net profit of Rp 9.4 billion. In the manufacturing sector, the company also successfully upgraded its production facilities, restructured its business processes, and settled its remaining obligations to Bank Mandiri.

Moving into 2026, IKAI will strengthen new revenue streams through its Integrated Land Development business, which encompasses area development, land rights management, utilities, and energy.

“With an increasingly strong foundation, we are optimistic that we can create tangible and sustainable growth through disciplined execution, data-driven decisions, and measured risk management,” said Desra.
