Intikeramik (IKAI) Optimistic About Performance Year-End Results to Be a Mainstay in 2026

This is reflected in the company’s performance, which has shown a significant strengthening trend towards the end of 2025 during the recovery phase.

The company’s EBITDA recorded positive growth of 16.83 percent based on a Q-on-Q comparison of 2025 data. In addition, revenue growth was also significant in the fourth quarter of 2025, rising 71 percent, and gross profit in 2025 reached IDR 71.87 billion.

IKAI Independent Commissioner Bernardus Djonoputro is optimistic that the performance in the fourth quarter of 2025 will be the baseline for performance in 2026, particularly in terms of achieving a positive book and restoring profitability.

“In the ‘Ceramic Industry and Market Outlook’ document, an independent study by Mandala Consulting, it is confirmed that the Essenza brand is the leader in the Luxurious segment and is one of the Top 3 Brands in the ceramic industry. This study also validates the Company’s business strategy of positioning Essenza as its main pillar,” he said in a disclosure to the IDX on Tuesday (12/16/2025).

In line with the completion of the major maintenance cycle, production in the ceramic manufacturing segment showed a strong recovery in the fourth quarter of 2025, with production increasing significantly by 74 percent, while the profit margin increased by 196 percent compared to the first quarter of 2025.

IKAI President Director Desra Ghazfan emphasized that this achievement reflects the success of efforts to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and optimization in the manufacturing segment and the realization of the company’s strategy to strengthen profitability through automation, process standardization, and predictive-preventive maintenance.

The performance of the hotel sector in the IKAI group throughout 2025, based on hotel industry indicator standards, such as occupancy and gross operating profit, was higher than the national average. This is reflected in the occupancy performance at Swiss-Belhotel Bogor at 89.63 percent and Swiss-Belinn Gajah Mada Medan at 74.56 percent.

For 2026, Desra said, IKAI will focus on four growth strategies, namely People and Skill Upgrade, Business Process Modernization, Market Acquisition Program, and Per-segment Ops Target.

In the manufacturing sector, Essenza has a very large market for multidimensional growth. Vertical growth by increasing production capacity, horizontal growth through innovation to create new products, entering the super-luxury market segment, and forming strategic alliances with world-leading ceramic manufacturers and top global designers.

Meanwhile, in the hotel sector, the growth strategy is carried out through an approach of increasing revenue quality and creating new sources of revenue.

“The company is also optimizing its commercial strategy in its hotel portfolio and will focus on a profitability over volume approach,” he said.
