KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Despite facing a decline in revenue in the third quarter of 2024, PT Intikeramik Alamasri Industri Tbk (IKAI) remains optimistic about 2025.
For illustration, IKAI’s revenue was recorded at Rp 146.6 billion in the third quarter of 2024, down from Rp 164.5 billion in the same period the previous year.
However, the company known for its Essenza brand is projecting a more stable recovery in the remainder of 2024, with revenue growth expected to increase by 10%-12% in the coming years.
IKAI CEO Yohas Raffli revealed that the company has designed more solid strategic measures for 2025, focusing on three main pillars: manufacturing, hospitality, and property.
‘These three pillars will support an integrated transformation designed to create sustainable growth and optimise profitability,’ said Yohas during a public expose on Monday (30/12).
IKAI is committed to strengthening its competitiveness in the global market by expanding its production capacity and adopting the latest technology.
One of the steps taken is to establish strategic partnerships with international partners amid the tension of anti-dumping regulations in several major countries such as China, India, and the European Union. This collaboration aims to make IKAI a major player in the global ceramic industry.
The application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology is the company’s main focus in improving operational efficiency. AI is utilised in predictive maintenance and supply chain management, enabling smoother operational flow and responsiveness to market needs.
‘Strategic partnerships and technological innovation are at the core of our move to take IKAI’s manufacturing to a global level, with relevant and impactful solutions,’ said Yohas.
In the hospitality sector, IKAI is implementing a ‘light on assets’ approach through Axis Hospitality Solution. This approach includes hotel property restructuring, human resource training, as well as strategic marketing to create positive cash flow and increase the value of managed properties.
A focus on personalising the guest experience and operational efficiency are key to IKAI’s success in managing properties and delivering high-quality services.
‘Hospitality is an important pillar in our strategy, and we are committed to providing the best guest experience while ensuring long-term operational sustainability,’ Yohas added.
