Intikeramik Alamasri Industri (IKAI) Takes Advantage of Business Prospects in 2024

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. PT Intikeramik Alamasri Industri Tbk (IKAI) is targeting revenue to reach Rp 259.84 billion in 2024. This value increased 18.51% from the target in 2023.

President Director of Intikeramik Alamasri Industri Yohas Raffli said that his party is targeting IKAI’s revenue to reach Rp 219.25 billion by the close of 2023.

Looking at the financial statements as of September 30, 2023, IKAI’s revenue reached Rp 164.50 billion. This is down 4.10% on an annual basis or Year on Year (YoY) from Rp 171.54 billion. Even so, IKAI was able to profit attributable to owners of the parent entity of IDR 1.21 billion. This achievement reversed from a net loss of Rp 38.18 billion.

“For next year, revenue is targeted at Rp 259 billion with a bottom line position of Rp 7.47 billion,” Yohas explained in a public expose on Friday (8/12).

He said the manufacturing segment will still be the main driver of IKAI’s revenue through its business entity, PT Internusa Keramik Alamasri.

In line with that, IKAI will continue to increase the capacity of ceramic products under the Essenza trademark. As of the third quarter of 2023, IKAI’s total ceramic products reached 1.07 million m2.

“We already have a roadmap to increase the capacity of the manufacturing segment organically and inorganically until 2025,” said Yohas.

To increase production capacity alone, IKAI has prepared an investment budget of Rp 40 billion. This increase is targeted to be completed in the third quarter of 2025.

For 2024, IKAI has also prepared a capital expenditure (capex) budget. Yohan explained that capex will be divided according to business lines.  For the manufacturing segment, IKAI has prepared a capex of Rp 3 billion. The budget will generally be used for the maintenance of existing machines.

Apart from being involved in the ceramics industry, IKAI is the parent company of PT Hotel Properti Internasional (HPI) and PT Saka Mitra Sejati (SMS).

“For the hotel business, we will rejuvenate facilities to improve hotel facilities with a capex of Rp 5 billion,” Yohas explained.

HPI owns the assets of Swissbel Hotel Bogor. Meanwhile, SMS owns the assets of Swiss-belinn Hotel Gajah Mada Medan and Hotel Saka.

Going forward, continued Yohas, IKAI’s property segment will build a cabin and restaurant in Bali in 2024. Then the hotel will be built in 2025.

“With the addition of this portfolio, it will increase revenue contribution which will begin in 2025,” he said.
